Long Time Director Retires
After serving on the Board of Directors of Community First Bank, N.A., James (Jim) McVitty has decided to retire. During the recent annual dinner meeting of the stockholders, Jim was presented an appreciation gift from board president, Dr. W. Martin Miller.
Jim was first elected to the board in 1989. In his retirement message, Jim reflected on the growth and changes in the banking industry. He also cited all the good times shared with his fellow directors.
A retired farmer in the Forest area, Jim plans on taking it a little easier and spending more time with his wife, Jo Ann.
